Inside the box

Our toy dog arrives ready for an appointment. Give him some compound and he grows a long silly tongue, plus Play-Doh hair from his ears and back, so there is always something to trim with the play scissors. Kids can mold tiny pretend fleas and lift them away with tweezers, then style the pup however they like before he heads home.

There are 10 vet-themed tools in all. Stamp with the toy stethoscope, fill the thermometer, and make five different bandage styles for any imaginary scrape. When the visit is over, everything packs into the carrier, which doubles as storage and has its own molds for pretend medicine and bows. Five cans come along in blue, pink, orange, brown, and green.
