Inside the box

Here is a full pretend restaurant on one counter. Place the skillet or pot on the stovetop with a creation inside and you hear sizzling or boiling sounds; three AA batteries are needed and not included. A removable deluxe pasta machine turns out ravioli, rigatoni, spaghetti and fettuccine with its attachments. Built-in tools and molds help make over 25 play foods.

Tomato and cheese containers come filled with compound and double as molds once they are empty. Add the 2-ounce cans of green, white, brown, pink and two yellows, and you have eight colors to cook with. Under the counter, a basket shows off finished dishes and stores the ten kitchen accessories. It measures about 18.3 by 12 inches, for chefs ages 3 and up.
